Cost & Contract Certainty

Every Ravcon home is built under the Domestic Building Contracts Act. You receive absolute clarity on price, inclusions, and timelines — with staged payments tied strictly to completed physical milestones, never to arbitrary dates.

Protection & Warranties

You are protected by Domestic Building Insurance, statutory warranties on structural work, and a formal defects-liability period after handover. We stand behind your home long after the keys change hands.

Phase 01

Pre-Construction
& Planning.

The foundation of a flawless build is laid before a single trench is dug. This phase is about eliminating assumptions, locking in costs, and securing the legal authority to commence.

Initial Consultation & Feasibility

We analyze your site, review planning overlays, and establish a realistic budget aligned with your architectural vision.

Design, Engineering & Selections

Working drawings are finalized, structural engineering is completed, and all material selections (fixtures, fittings, finishes) are formally documented to prevent later variations.

The Building Contract

A comprehensive, legally binding contract is executed — a standard HIA or Master Builders domestic building contract detailing the fixed price, full specifications, and statutory warranties.

Permits & Approvals

We navigate town planning (if required), engage an independent Building Surveyor, and secure the Building Permit. No work begins until legal compliance is absolute.

Phase 02

The Construction Stages.

Progress is strictly measured against the standard Victorian construction stages. You are kept informed at every milestone, and the building surveyor carries out the inspections required by your permit at the prescribed stages before work proceeds.

Stage 1

Base & Slab

Site establishment, excavation, and underground plumbing. The foundation is poured to exact engineering specifications.

Stage 2

The Frame

The structural skeleton is erected. Wall frames and roof trusses are installed, giving the building its true shape and volume.

Stage 3

Lock-Up

Brickwork, cladding, roofing, windows, and external doors are installed. The building is now weather-tight and secure.

Client Experience

You can now walk through the enclosed space and truly feel the proportions of the rooms.

Stage 4

Fixing

Internal cladding (plasterboard), architraves, skirting, internal doors, and built-in cabinetry are fitted. The interior begins to look finished.

Quality Control

Our site managers conduct rigorous inspections of plaster finishes and cabinetry alignments prior to painting.

Stage 5

Completion

Painting, tiling, final fit-off of electrical and plumbing fixtures, floor coverings, and final clean. The property is ready for final inspection.

Practical Completion Walkthrough

We walk through the property together, identifying any minor adjustments needed before final handover.

Phase 03

Handover &
Protection.

The relationship does not end when the keys are handed over. We build to last, and our post-construction protocols ensure your investment is protected by robust legal and structural warranties.

The Handover

You receive the keys, a comprehensive handover manual containing all appliance warranties, certificates of compliance, and maintenance guides.

Defects Liability Period

A defects liability period applies after handover, as set out in your contract. Should any defects arise as the building settles, our team returns to rectify them promptly.

Structural Warranty

Your build is backed by statutory builder's warranties and, where required, domestic building insurance — distinct protections that cover structural work for years to come.
